Responsibilities to Include:

  • Receive invitations to bid, RFI's and addendums and distribute to proper project team
  • Maintain and update a list of projects being bid
  • Assist the project manager in doing take offs and gathering pricing
  • Put together and track submittals with the project manager
  • Follow up with the project manager on existing quotes
  • Request samples as needed
  • Communicate with architects on design and layout
  • Communicate with general contractors and clients
  • Attend job site visits and job meetings as required
  • Organize job folders, shipping schedules
  • Use of construction software
  • Use of bidding software

Required:

  • Prior experience in estimating
  • Understanding of construction drawings and specs
  • Reliable transportation
  • Friendly and professional attitude
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized
  • Familiarity with construction and bidding software such as Procore and iSqft
  • Experience with CAD
